Farming Member

Owns land or is the representative of a landowner in the Whanganui
Region (>40ha livestock/dairy/forestry OR >5ha horticulture/cropping).

Smallholding Member

Landowner within the Whanganui Region with >1ha but less than
the above thresholds.

Associated Member

A person actively involved in or providing services to the farming industry, Iwi members, rural professionals, or community members aligned with the purposes of the Society.

~The Catchment Group (the "Group") respects your privacy and will treat all personal and farm information provided on this membership form as confidential.
~ Information collected will be used solely for the purposes of managing membership, communication, reporting (e.g., to funders or regulators), and delivering activities and services relevant to the Group.
Disclosure to Third Parties
~Your information will not be sold, traded, or disclosed to any unrelated third parties.
~ Information may be shared with trusted partners (e.g., funders, catchment coordinators, government agencies, or service providers) only where necessary to fulfil the objectives of the Group.
~ Where reporting requires identifiable details (e.g., property or farm data), the Group will obtain your consent before disclosure. In most cases, data will be shared in an aggregated or anonymised form.
Consent
~ By signing this membership form, you consent to the collection and use of your information by the Group for the purposes outlined above.
~ You may withdraw your consent at any time by notifying the Group in writing, though this may limit your ability to participate fully in some Group activities or programmes.
Access and Correction
~ You have the right to access the information the Group holds about you and to request correction of any errors.
Non-Disclosure
~ The Group commits to safeguarding members’ personal and farm information from unauthorised disclosure. All staff, coordinators, and committee members handling member data are expected to comply with confidentiality obligations.
